Ready to dive in the Ocean? Than this is the class for you!

You'll spend several nights in the classroom, several nights in our in house pool getting trained, before splashing in the Ocean around the beautiful reefs of Key Largo.

We're experienced divers and dive trainers. The team has over 2,500 dives and trained over 1,000 divers. We'll make your first dive experience one you'll remember fondly for years to come.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

• Knowledge Development at home to understand basic principles of scuba diving
• Confined Water Dives in Scuba Outfitters’ onsite indoor pool to learn basic scuba skills
• Open Water Dives in beautiful Key Largo to review your skills and explore the reefs!

What You Learn:

• How much fun scuba diving is
• Scuba diving equipment considerations for your local diving environment
• How to plan, and execute actual dives
• How to prevent and manage problems

• PADI Open Water Manual
• Logbook
• Student Training Package
• Rental Scuba equipment which includes:

1. Balanced Diaphragm regulator system
2. Weight integrated BCD
3. Appropriate Thermal Protection

You will meet at SCUBA Outfitters of Naples twice a week for 3 weeks. The very first night you will experience breathing underwater. PADI’s Open Water Diver materials cover what you need to know about basic scuba diving skills, terminology and safety procedures. For each concept you’ll read a description and watch a video demonstration. Then you’ll jump in the pool to practice these skills with your instructor. Later, as a certified diver, use the course materials as a reference guide for future diving adventures and to review what you learned.
