Lost on Land

Jan 1, 2010. My heart and soul are under the sea ! I am walking on land but when I look at the photos of everyone diving and I see the unbelievably wild and amazing aquatic world in those pictures I just want to squeeze into that wet suit, strap on a tank, and jump in the water ! Alas, I have chosen to undergo some surgical "enhancement" and have had to eliminate some of the more strenous activity for a while in order to gain a couple pounds and then for my recovery afterward. Of course I'm going to need to recondition so as soon as I can I'm coming into the shop to use the pool and my goal is to go to the Keys in Feb. I'm also planning the April Epcot dive if I get in fast enough to sign up before all the spots are taken - fingers crossed. Missed the Christmas and New Year's parties - have just been laying low. Not good for the soul though - I feel like I'm missing something very special. All you people who love to dive - you're a special breed and I am humbled to know you. May the New Year bring all and everything you have ever wanted or wished for. See you soon at the bottom of the ocean ! Barb Chaney
